Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium Announces Membership and Admission Price Effective Jan. 15, 2025

Fort Myers, FL – December 19, 2024 – In response to rising operational costs, Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium is announcing a one-time adjustment to its membership and daily admission rates, effective January 15, 2025. This change is essential to continue offering high-quality educational programs, experiences, and events for our members and visitors.

New Membership Rates: Starting January 15, 2025, our membership rates will increase as follows:

Student Membership will increase from $15 to $20 per year.
Individual Membership will increase from $35 to $50 per year.
Family & Friends Membership will increase from $60 to $90 per year.
Grandparent & Extended Family Membership will increase from $80 to $105 per year.

New Daily Admission Rates: Additionally, daily admission rates will also increase starting January 15, 2025:

Children's Admission will increase from $5 to $7.
Adult Admission will increase from $10 to $13.

"We recognize that price adjustments can be challenging, but this is necessary to continue providing exceptional educational programming and maintain our facilities,” said Eric Raddatz, Executive Director of Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium. “We are grateful for the ongoing support of our members and guests, and this update will allow us to sustain our mission of connecting people with nature and nurturing nature in meaningful ways."

Get Your Membership Today! To lock in the current rates, we encourage you to purchase or renew your membership before January 15, 2025. By becoming a member now, you’ll enjoy the lower prices for the entire year, along with unlimited access to our museum, trails, planetarium shows, and more—plus discounts on events, camps, workshops, and in our gift shop.

Memberships also provide free or discounted admission to over 180 nature centers nationwide through the Association of Nature Centers Administrators (ANCA) Reciprocal Program.
