You have found the page for Calusa Storm Camp Registration for September 2017 — fill your child’s storm break from school with fun, nature, science, and hands-on creative activities at Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium: four fun days offer lots of variety! Ages 6-15 (grades 1-10; minimum age is 6 years). Calusa’s Camp is a unique active learning experience with our 105-acre wetlands outdoors and our learning centers engaging campers. Active learning experiences with animals, fun nature investigations and more. Each day focuses on a different theme.
Calusa Storm Camp September 2017 enrollment information:
Calusa Storm Camp will be open 8 am – 5 pm for $35/day or 10 am – 4 pm for $25/day. Please be prompt; penalties for pickup after 5 accrue at the rate of $3/min.
What to Bring/wear: Please send a water bottle and a lunch with your camper each day. Children must dress for the outdoors in “play clothes,” as we will be outdoors exploring nature. All campers should bring a change of clothes and a water-safe pair of shoes: it’s the rainy season and we will be occasionally exposed to wetlands, muddy trails, etc. Closed-toed shoes are a MUST. Hat, insect repellant and sunscreen are highly recommended.
Enrollment applications are available at the Calusa Nature Center, or you may fill out the application below if you wish to register your student(s) online. Each participant will require a separate registration form fill, but choice of multiple camps may be made in that camper’s registration and payments may be made in one pass by setting the item quantities appropriately.

To register your child for camp, please choose the option(s) you want and use the button corresponding to those options. Each child will need a separate registration.
IMPORTANT: The Camper Information Form (included below) must be filled out and submitted first — just one Camper Information Form is required per camper, whether your child is attending one camp session or all of them: This is where you will reserve space in specific camps, but reservations are not complete until payment is received. Campers will not be able to start camp if their information form has not been processed or full payment in agreement with membership status has not been received, so this form should be filled out and sent the same day as payment.
When your registration form (below) has been submitted, you will be shown a link to the payment options page. You must complete the payment process at that time to ensure your student/camper’s place in Calusa Storm Camp 2017.
